The all-new Maruti Suzuki Celerio images have been leaked ahead of its official market launch in the coming months. Look at it's interesting features.
Maruti Suzuki has been working on the new-gen Celerio and is all set to introduce in India, likely in the coming weeks. It has been road testing for quite a while now, and plenty of spy pictures have been floating around the browser. It's bigger, colorful and will be underpinned by the automaker's Heartect platform.
Exterior
The all new model seems to be larger than the outgoing version. The new front fascia with a slimmer front grille holding the round triangular headlamps, flanking a sleek grille with a chrome strip running horizontally across the face. The front bumper get sportier look with black inserts with circular housing for the fog lamps.
The side profile remains relatively simple with the only highlights - larger windows, new ORVMs, and new all-black alloy wheels. At the back, we see a different high mount stop lamp design for the taillamps, and a restyled rear bumper.
Interior
We expect major changes in the interior of the vehicle. The car will likely get a different upholstery, redesigned dashboard, and a few additional features and equipment. It will also offer a 7-inch infotainment system with connectivity , push-button start/stop multi-functional steering wheel, keyless entry, etc.
Engine
Mechanically, it will continue the same 1.0-litre petrol engine that generates 67 bhp and 90 Nm of peak torque. As per speculations, a 1.2-litre, naturally aspirated, produces 82 bhp and 113 Nm of torque, inline-4 petrol engine option will also be added. Gearbox options that will be offered with both the units are 5 speed manual and AMT. A CNG option could join the lineup at a later stage.
Price
The price of next-gen Celerio is expected to range between Rs. 4.5 lakh to Rs. 6 lakh (ex-showroom prices).
