Latest design of 2021 Skoda Kodiaq teased

Skoda has teased the design elements of upcoming 2021 Kodiaq. The car will have a digital unveiling on April 13, 2021. The images reflect multiple exterior changes to the seven-seat SUV. The SUV is midway through its lifecycle in other international markets.

The teasers reflects the nose will get a hexagonal grille for a more striking and upright stance. The Czech carmaker has also trimmed down the headlights. It will now come with a separate LED module to develop “a new four-eyed look”. The rear end of the car will get tail-lights that are more slender than the present model’s and would include crystalline structures in the design.

More information related to interiors, performance figures, engine options, and on-board equipment is expected to come tomorrow. A sporty vRS model is also expected to be launched at some stage. The model was discontinued in 2020 due to strict emission norms.

The Skoda Kodiaq was launched in 2016 and ever since, Skoda has managed to sell over 6,00,000 Kodiaq SUVs all over the world.

2021 Skoda Kodiaq: India launch

The Kodiaq is expected to return to India in its facelift form in the third quarter of 2021 (July- September), as per Zac Hollis, Director of Sales, Service and Marketing, Skoda Auto India. Kodiaq will be the third launch that Skoda has planned for this year. Skoda is also launching the new Skoda Octavia in later part of April. It has already announced the launch of its compact SUV Kushaq in June 2021.
