Electric scooter in India - options with the best range

When it comes to purchasing an electric scooter in India, one of the most critical factors to consider is the riding range. Due to a lack of charging infrastructure in India, customers are reluctant to buy an EV. That's reasonable, given the possibility of stranded miles from home with a low battery and no nearby charging station.

However, a few electric two-wheelers in India solve this challenge in part by offering an incredible riding range. Until India's charging infrastructure improves enough, you may choose from one of these EVs that can go more than 100 kilometers without recharging. Unlike well-known ICE-powered motorcycle manufacturers, however, the majority of companies have dealerships in just a few locations throughout India.

Gravton Motors, an electric vehicle startup headquartered in Hyderabad, launched its first vehicle, the Quanta, in June. The Gravton Quanta price at Rs 99,000 (ex-showroom, Hyderabad) and has a 320-kilometer claimed range! The catch is that the range achieves by traveling at an average of 25kmph with its dual-battery pack. It is Power by an in-house designed 3kW BLDC motor with a peak torque of 180Nm at the wheel.

The advertised price is a one-time offer that will expire on October 15, 2021. Thus, if you're looking for a simple electric vehicle with a long-range, the Gravton Quanta is hard to overlook.  It is only available in three cities, however: Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru.
