In a bizarre incident, Bengaluru police impounded a Rolls-Royce along with other 6 cars. The Rolls-Royce was driven by Salman Khan.
On August 22, the Bengaluru transport vehicle department launched a quick raid and seized seven luxury vehicles for allegedly operating without the necessary documentation, insurance, and other documents. Interestingly, Salman Khan was driving an impounded Rolls-Royce that was earlier registered in Amitabh Bachchan's name.
Officials from the Department of Transport performed a special drive near UB City and surprise to find a Rolls Royce that was registered in Amitabh Bachchan's name in 2019. Authorities also discovered that the luxury car was operating without insurance.
"We drove through UB City on the basis of the information from our sources. Officials seized seven cars registered in Maharashtra, including a Rolls Royce.
The Rolls-Royce luxury car was first registered in Amitabh Bachchan's name in 2019 but was reportedly bought by a Bengaluru-based builder. Salman Khan was driving the car and failed to provide papers related to the car. Additionally, the car was operating without insurance. We have impounded the car by the law," Narendra Holkar, the Transport Department's Additional Commissioner, said.
