Ola Electric scooter is in its final lap ahead of launch and has opened bookings for ₹499, as a refundable amount. Ola Electric has informed that interested customers can get the units reserved online at the company's official website - olaelectric.com and will get delivery on priority basis. The company chief, Bhavish Aggarwal made the announcement by is official twitter handle.
Ola Electric revealed some interesting features about the e-scooter. It will come with some "segment-best" features. The scooter will get features such as the biggest-in-class boot space, and a segment-leading range, and app based keyless access. Moreover, e-scooter will include fast charging capabilities, full-LED lighting, front disk brake, and more.
As per design, the new e-scooter has a slim profile. But, the twin headlamp cluster, surrounded by LED DRLs give it a unique look. Expect more info on the scooter to roll out in the next few days.
Ola's upcoming electric scooter will be capable of getting charged from 0 to 50% in just 18 minutes that could provide a range of 75 km. While full charge range of the scooter is said to be deliver a driving range of somewhere around 150 km. If the claims hold any support, the scooter will give a tough competition to the likes of Ather 450X and TVS iQube.
It is most likely to go on sale in India by end of the ongoing month. It's cost price fall somewhere in the range of ₹1 lakh to ₹1.2 lakh (ex-showroom).
