Tata Altroz is unarguably is one of the safest hatchbacks present in the Indian car market. The premium hatchback has secured 5 star rating from the Global NCAP crash test. And these numbers are just not on papers. Recently, Tata Altroz has proven its safety credentials in a horrific accident in Nepal.
Altroz fell down hundreds of feet into a deep ravine. As you can see in the picture, the car is completely toppled and standing against the tree with its fascia watching the sky. In such horrendous accident, we expect the worst for the passengers but in this case, all the occupants of Tata Altroz walked out safely without any major injury.
This accident reflects a lot about the build quality of Altroz. The image shows that the doors, roof, and bonnet of the car are damaged but the cabin is pretty much in its place even after falling off from several feet.
The Tata Altroz comes equipped two airbags, ABS with EBD along with all the standard safety features that are mandated under the recent safety guidelines. The car has a high-speed alert system, driver and front passenger seat belt warning and rear parking sensors.
