Suzuki teases the rear of Hayabusa and its awesome!

Suzuki is planning to launch the performance bike Hayabusa in the second half of April.

Suzuki Motorcycles India is bringing the 2021 Hayabusa to India in later part of April. The Japenese two-wheeler manufacturer has teased the bike ahead of its launch. It has shared the picture of its rear-half on Twitter.

The image is shared with a statement ‘Single seat cowling enhances the aerodynamic silhouette and is sure to make heads turn with its ultimate styling and quality.’

The 2021 Hyabusa is expected to go on sale in the later part of this month. It is expected to be priced around ₹15 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be pitted against the likes of Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R. The latest model will be more expensive than the outgoing model that is currently priced at ₹13.70 lakh (ex-showroom).

The price hike is because of the new engine coming with the latest generation Hayabusa. The older model was discontinued due to BS6 emission norms in India.

The new 1340 cc, inline-four engine will churn out massive 188 bhp at 9,700 RPM and 150 Nm of torque at 7,000 RPM. It will be mated to six-speed transmission and would return a fuel efficiency of around 15 kmpl.

Apart from seats, the new model is expected to have a sharper exterior design and a dual tone body color. Headlamp will has LED light and tail lamp along with turn indicators will also get a update.

The new Hayabusa is based on a lighter frame that will offer 50:50 weight transfer. The new super bike will also offer ABS, six-axis IMU system, launch control, engine brake control, active speed limiter, along with 5 riding modes.
