As per the Punjab Police, the killers of the singer, Sidhu Moosewala used a car to follow him before shooting, with the registration number DL4C-NB-8483. After further investigation, the registration number that was used on that car was fake and it belonged to the owner, Shamsher Singh. He recently bought a used scorpio with the same registration number from an online portal Cars24.
The owner of the SUV claimed that he put his vehicle on sale at online portals, including OLX and Marketplace, etc.
He claimed that the car had registration number of Delhi, later which he got transferred on his name.
He added that his Scorpio has now even has High-Security Registration Plate (HSRP) installed on his vehicle, which strengthens his case and keeps him out from the whole incident.
