No need to pay challan if you exceed speed of 100 km/h

MoRTH is asking the state governments to increase the speed-limit to provide smooth traffic movement in urban and semi-urban parts.

The Transport Minister, Nitin Gadkari is in the favor to increase the maximum speed limit to 140 kmph on highways. It should be at least 100 kmph on four-lane roads, whereas for two-lane roads and city, the speed limit should be 80 kmph and 75 kmph.

Other than this, it is also revealed that 24 states and union territories have started the New Bharat Series (BH-Series) for vehicle registration.

As per new vehicle registration regime, vehicle owners from re-registration process  when they move from one state to another.
