Skoda has finally introduced the Kodiaq SUV in the Indian market with a starting price tag of Rs 34.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in three variants : Style, Sportline and L&K. Bookings for the same have already begun.
Exterior
Among the exterior changes, the SUV has an elevated bonnet, revised headlights with LED DRLs, new fog lamps, a tweaked bumper, silver roof rails, new roof-mounted spoiler, 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, new sharp-looking wraparound LED taillights, and more.
Dimensionally, the SUV is 4,699 mm long, 1,882 mm wide, 1,685 mm tall, and the wheelbase stands at 2,791 mm.
Interior
If we talk about interior, it comes with an 8-inch infotainment system that offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, 3-zone climatronic air conditioning, panoramic sunroof, 12-speaker Canton Sound system, adjustable front seats, and more.
Safety
As far as safety is concerned, it gets ABS with EBD, Mechanical Brake Assist (MBA), Electronic Differential Lock (EDL), 9-Airbags, Anti Slip Regulation (ASR), and more.
Engine
The SUV is a petrol-only model. It is powered with 2.0-litre four-cylinder TSI turbo-petrol engine, that churns out 190 hp and 320 Nm of torque. It is paired with 7-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive system. The same engine is also shared with Skoda Octavia.
