Hyundai India is set to increase its car prices in India, come August 2019. And the new government regulations are to blame for this hike.

The Indian government had made it mandatory to install the new safety regulations in new cars. This installation meant a rise in the price of vehicles, and that is exactly what is happening.

Hyundai has announced that the price of each of its passenger vehicles will be increased by up to Rs. 9,200. This price hike will be brought into effect from 1st August, 2019. The company will release the updated price-list for all the car variants in August only.

This increase will be applied on all variants of Creta, i20, Santro, Grand i10, Xcent, Verna, Elantra, and Tucson. The company will release the updated price-list for all the car variants in August only.

However, no hike would be imposed on the newly launched Venue and Kona Electric. Both these cars and their variants have received positive response from the public, and the sales figures of the past two months look quite promising.

July would be a very good time to buy a Hyundai car if you wish to save some money.
