Within two and a half years of its launch, Renault has sold over one lakh units of Triber in India. Renault launched Triber Limited Edition to mark the occasion, with prices starting at Rs 7.24 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). A manual and AMT version of this limited edition model is available.
Renault said the latest limited edition of the Renault Triber is now available for booking at all Renault showrooms across the country. However, the limited-edition model costs about Rs 28,000 more than the standard RxT trim of the 7-seater sub-4m MPV in India.
Renault has created two new dual-tone colors, Moonlight Silver with Black Roof and Cedar Brown with Black Roof, to justify the Triber's high price tag. Additional features include new 14-inch flex wheels for Renault Triber's limited edition model.
The black inner door handles and new Akaza fabric upholstery match the dashboard’s piano black trim. Renault Triber's limited-edition model has the same list of standard features as the RxT model.
In other words, the new limited-edition Renault Triber comes equipped with features like a digital instrument cluster, push-button start/stop, keyless entry, and go, steering-mounted audio and phone controls, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, power-adjustable outside mirrors, air conditioning in all three rows, four airbags, a reverse parking camera, and a cooled center console. These are all standard features in the Renault Triber limited edition.
Furthermore, the powertrain remains the same, with the same tried and tested 1.0-liter 3-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine producing 71.01bhp and 96Nm of peak torque.
The new limited-edition Renault Triber has a 5-speed manual transmission and a 5-speed automatic manual transmission as options for the gearbox.
Apart from that, with a 4-Star safety rating for Adult Occupant Protection, the Renault Triber is one of the safest 7-seater cars available in the country today.
The Renault Triber limited edition's AMT gearbox type price is Rs 7.76 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The limited-edition variant does not add any features to the MPV, but it does give it a more distinct look.
