Nowadays, electric cars are becoming very popular among buyers. Tata Motors, one of the leading electric manufacturer offered Nexon EV and Tigor EV. Also, Electra EV also delivered custom-built electric vehicle based on Tata Nano.
The company shared the picture of Ratan Tata with the Nano EV on LinkedIn, calling it as a 'moment of truth' and hoping to get insights from Tata's feedback after his car ride.
The post is shared online with a picture of Mr. Ratan Tata and his 28-years old assistant Shantanu Naidu. It said, “It is a moment of truth for Team Electra EV when our founder takes a ride in the custom-built 72V Nano EV, powered by the engineering might of Electra EV’s powertrain! We are super proud to deliver Mr. Tata’s Nano EV and gain insights from his invaluable feedback.”
Tata Nano EV is a four door, four seater small hatchback with a predicted range of 160 kms and it can go up to 0-60 kmph in less than 10 seconds. Also, it is powered by super polymer lithium-ion batteries. It would be a perfect city car without harming the environment.
The car was actually a brainchild of Mr. Ratan Tata which was launched with a vision to make cars accessible to everyone in the country. Also, it was considered as a most affordable car in the world.
Amazingly, this is not the first time when Tata has converted Nano into an electronic vehicle. The Nano EV by electra can be a good option for those who want a small electric car for small drives. Information about price and its production is currently not available.
