PayTm, founder, Vijay Shekhar Sharma was arrested for ramming DCP's car, granted bail

Paytm founder and CEO, Vijay Shekhar Sharma was reportedly arrested by the Delhi police for rash driving, last month. Later, he was granted bail. Sharma was allegedly behind the wheels of the Jaguar Land Rover that got rammed into a vehicle of District Commissioner of Police (DCP) of South Delhi. This incident happened at Aurobindo Mark.

According to Delhi Police spokesperson, Suman Nalwa, Sharma was arrested in case of negligent or rash driving and was released on bail.

Constable Kumar said that he was near Mother's International School because of traffic jam. While, he was about to clear the traffic, another vehicle rammed into the DCP's vehicle and managed to flee away from the spot.

While investigating, the police found that Sharma's car is registered to a company in Gurgaon and belongs to Sharma who lives in South Delhi.
