Apple unveiled at its WWDC event that iPhone users with iOS 16-powered devices will be able to pay their fuel bills right from the infotainment system of their vehicles. It also introduced new fueling and driving tasks application that can be used after an update.
As per reports, this feature will allow a new way to locate gas stations and make payments at fueling station using a car's infotainment system. However, this feature will only be available with a specific petrol pump chain.
Customers must create an account with a specific gas stations and add a payment method. Also, the petrol pump authorities must enable the CarPlay feature on their iPhone users.
