No fuel without PUCC in Delhi

Recently, the Delhi Government has issued a new order for motorists. According to the new rule, motorists will not be allowed to refuel their vehicles at the fuel station if they don't have valid Pollution Under Control Certificate (PUCC) of their vehicles. This step has taken for curbing the pollution from vehicles in NCR.

The confirmation about this rule was given by the Mr. Gopal Rai, the Environment Minister of national capital. Government is planning to issue a draft policy for objections and suggestions from the public.

As per the statement, all the vehicles, either two-wheelers or four-wheelers, have to carry valid PUCC of their vehicles to get their tanks re-filled. In case, if they don't have a valid PUCC, then they are left with the option to get it issued at the fuel pump itself.

This measure will help people in mandating the use of PUCC and keeping the pollution level in check.
