Nissan Magnite is packed with features and offers stunning styling. Launched at just 4.99 lakh, the sub-compact SUV is poised to give tough competition to hatchbacks at this price point.

The all-new Nissan Magnite has been recently launched in India as a subcompact crossover SUV. It offers classy interiors, good mileage efficiency, and a hassle-free driving experience. Built on the CMF-A+ platform, Nissan offers a host of new feature in this subcompact SUV, creating a benchmark in the emerging market. Its looks are also very slick and mass appealing.

Exterior

Coming to the front end of the car, an eye-catchy and prominent grille is given which is uplifting the overall look of the vehicle. A 360-degree camera has been fixed between the grill from the inside. The headlight is very sleek which is making it look edgy and powerful. The entire head light unit is LED.

The wheel size if 16inch and covered with cladding. Above the cladding and along with the window extension  "Nissan Magnite" is written which is adding a premium look to the side angle. The ORVM comes with an LED turn indicator along with the side 360-degree camera, attached beneath it. The ORVM is of black color. The door handle is in chrome finish with the request sensor feature to lock and unlock the car. The keyless entry feature is an extension to it. The name branding is given at the back in chrome finish. The tail lamps are very powerful and boxy. The antenna is the regular one. Ground clearance of Magnite is 205mm.

Interior

While being inside, you will not get the cabin noise. On the driver door, electric power window controls along with ORVM positioning controls are given. The material used in the entire vehicle is of very fine quality. Small sections have a textured finish, which is enhancing the overall look. Car lock and unlock buttons are given at the center console. Steering is equipped with all the controls of MID, infotainment, and cruise. 7-inch colored MID is given.

The display is animation based. Tyre pressure monitoring system is also given. Steering is up and down adjustable for comfortable driving. The AC vent frame is sleek and hexagonal in shape. The infotainment screen is 10-inch in size and touchscreen-based. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are available, along with other entertainment features.

The touchscreen is smooth and easy to use. Moving down the system there, manual operation buttons are given for adjustment of AC temperature, blower speed, and the air direction, which are display based. The product quality offered here is commendable.

All TechLine features can be added on an extra basis if required, which will provide wireless charging, paddle lamp, and ambient light. Below the AC control engine, the start-stop button is placed. 12V charging socket and a USB slot for cable attachment are given. The glove box is of 10 liters. It is big and deep in terms of utilization. The cabin light unit is halogen. A Bluetooth speaker is present for phone call connectivity. The vanity mirror is given on both sides.

The seats are fairly comfortable and adjustable in terms of length and width which is an add on comfort to the driver. Moving to the rear seat, they too are very comfortable even for long journeys as well. The knee room is satisfactorily spacious along with decent headroom. AC blower is present at the backside as well. On the same pillar, a 12V charging socket is given. Separate cabin light is placed for the rear seat users. The glass quarter panel is making the look airy and big. 326-liter boot space is given which is quite capacious for storage. The rear seats are droppable, If required for more space.

Nissan Magnite also offers features like Hill-start assist to ensure no rolling back on inclination, electronic brake force distribution with ABS. Vehicle Dynamic control takes instant action on all kinds of roads. Traction control system upholds on slippery roads. Dual airbags are given for driver and co-passenger safety.

Engine Options

The Nissan is offering a petrol engine. The 999cc will churn out 98.63BHP power and 20.0kmpl mileage. It will be mated to a CVT automatic transmission and a manual gear box.
