Lexus has launched the new Lexus NX 350 h SUV in India priced from ₹ 64.90 lakh - ₹ 71.60 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It is available in hybrid mode and three variants - Exclusive, Exquisite, and F-Sport. The new-gen model is built up on the brand's design and looks even more contemporary. Exterior
In terms of design, the front end looks refreshing with a new blacked-out spindle grille, C-shaped air intakes with fog lamps, and sleek headlamps featuring L-shaped DRLs. At the rear, it gets L-shaped taillights along with a light bar stretching across the width of the car and redesigned rear bumpers.
Interior
Moving inside, the 2022 Lexus NX 350 h is designed based on the Tazuna Concept. A 9.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system covers the main stage and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also offers a 14-inch navigation system, a premium sound system with 10 speakers, wireless charging, and a powered front seats among others.
Safety
In terms of safety, the new Lexus NX 350h comes with multiple airbags, traction control, ABS, EBD, ESC, front and rear parking sensors, and surround-view camera. Furthermore, it comes equipped with Lexus Safety System+, which includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Alert, pre-collision system, Lane Departure Alert, and Adaptive high beam system.
Engine
Mechanically, it gets a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder engine with 259-volt lithium-ion battery which churns out 236 bhp of maximum power. But, being with a hybrid powertrain, it is further boosted by a pair of electric motors placed at each axle. Also, it comes along with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system as well.
Competition
The new Lexus NX rivals against the likes of the Jaguar F-Pace, Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, Audi Q5, Land Rover Evoque and the Volvo XC60 among others.
