New Honda City facelift launched

Honda Cars India has officially launched the City Facelift in India on 2nd March, 2023. The updated model gets cosmetic changes, and feature additions which is available in four variants with six colours.

Design

The refreshed City will get front and rear bumpers, a new grille, and new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Other features include LED taillights, fog lights, LED headlights, front door-mounted ORVMs, and a shark-fin antenna.

Colours and variants

The Honda City will be available in four variants including SV, V, VX, and XX offered in five colors. Radiant Red Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Obsidian Blue Pearl Paintjob, and Platinum White Pearl.

Interior and features

The Honda City facelift also received some updates to its interior, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, including a wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a new interior theme, Honda Sensing suite (ADAS), ambient lighting, electric sunroof and rain-sensing wipers.

Engine and transmission

Mechanically, Honda City includes 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, NA petrol engine and 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a hybrid motor. It churns out 119bhp and 145 Nm of peak torque, mated with six speed manual unit.

On the other hand, the hybrid version generates 97bhp and 127 Nm of peak torque.

Price and competition

Honda City comes with a price tag of Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with Skoda Slavia, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, and Volkswagen Virtus.
