Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is a compact entry-level car, which is completely designed and developed by Maruti Suzuki, in-house. The S-Presso production version was showcased at the Auto Expo 2018 by Maruti. With the craze of SUV showing no sign of abatement, Maruti Suzuki states that with this new S-Presso, they brewed a new segment - the Mini SUV.  When we talk about its looks, this car is really a hatch, a bit like an SUV. Engine Options

A 1.0-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine is placed under the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso. This engine can churn out 67 hp and a maximum torque of 90 Nm. The same engine is currently available on the lower-specific variant of the Maruti Suzuki WagonR. However, the same has been updated for the S-Presso to comply with the upcoming emission regulations for BS-6.

Transmission System

A five-speed manual gearbox is standard for all variants in the transmission set up of Maruti Suzuki S-Presso. Furthermore, a 5-speed AMT unit is also available. The transmission system of this car is very robust and will require zero or no maintenance as you travel with it. The quality of the transmission system is good and you will not face any problem related to it.


The Maruti S-Presso uses air disc brakes on the front for braking along with rear drum brakes. The S-Presso is furnished with a driver-side airbag, EBD ABS, rear car park sensors, and a driver as well as passenger seatbelt warning system as standard across the range.
