Mahindra Bolero is one of the most popular MUVs in India. With its rugged looks and sheer practicality, it offer reliable performance.

The Mahindra Bolero has remained the branch leader of the raw utility segment, and not without reason. Although the interior quality is very rough and edgy, what works in favor of the Bolero is its functionality and practicality. What takes it forward is its maintenance friendliness to the customer. The look it delivers is very raw and powerful. The performance on road is incomparable, best in class for utility vehicles. Its suspensions are built to tackle any road conditions. Fit for all climatic conditions. The features offered are user friendly.

Exterior

The complete front has been re-designed and comes in a fresh look. New bold grille is given with dual-tone. Strong metal x-shaped bumper is giving it a muscular look. Light unit is halogen with static bending headlamps to ensure clear visibility on turns. New fog lamps enhance the visibility in rough weather.

From the side profile, Bolero looks very raw with multiple exposed parts including the door hinge. Wheelbase is 2680mm. Some changes are done at the rear side as well. New tail lamps come with clear-lens and halogen light units. Tail mounted spare wheel is fixed just over the rear parking sensors. A step is given for rear side entry. Leaf spring suspension and coil spring suspension is given at back and front respectively.

Interior

The seats can be operated manually. The steering is big to hold and chunky. The instrument cluster is digital and in L-shape. It is extended till the middle of the dashboard.

Infotainment system offers Bluetooth connectivity. A 12V charging socket is given at the center console. Window controls are at the left side near the hand brake. A handle is placed above the glove box at the co-driver seat for comfort holding during bumpy rides.

Glove box closure is very smooth with light push. A mic is offered at the top for phone calls connectivity through Bluetooth. The seats at the rear are comfortable. Because of the good window area the overall interior feels very airy and spacious.

Safety Features

The Mahindra Bolero is provisioned with basic safety features. It comes with an engine immobilizer, child safety , driver and passenger airbags and ABS in the rear wheel.

Engine Options

The Mahindra Bolero is offered in two variants with a mHAWK D70 1.5litre diesel engine. The 4-cylinder engine churns out 70bhp of power. It is mated to a 5-gear manual transmission. The mileage offered is 21.0km/l

Pricing

The price range offered  is from 7.64 Lakhs and goes up to 9.01 Lakhs.

The exterior design is what makes it different from other cars of the same segment. It is the only MUV that has a body on frame chassis. The mileage performance makes it one of the most loved cars in a mileage-obsessed country.
