The legendary South Korean carmaker Kia has finally made an entrance into the Indian automobile market with its compact SUV Seltos. The five-seater comes with a starting price of ₹9.69 lakhs with a 1.4 Turbo GDI engine.
Seltos has managed to create a lot of buzz and is being considered a direct challenger to Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier and recently launched MG Hector. Ever since Kia launched the compact SUV in India, it has managed to secure over 50,000 bookings and sold over 7,000 units making it the top-selling car among its peers.
With this remarkable entry, Kia is all set to give tough competition to other well-established brands in India.

Design
The car offers a rather contemporary design than its competitors. The exterior comes with sleek lines yet looks butch in appearance. You can find LED headlamps and taillights, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and Kia’s signature tiger-nose grille among others. The interiors of Seltos also give the feeling of a premium car.
Spacious
The car is based on the same platform as the Hyundai Creta. However, its dimensions are slightly larger than the Creta which makes it more spacious from inside. It offers greater cabin space and increased boot space for comfortable long drives. Its rear seat offers great leg space and thigh support for passengers. Three people can sit comfortably in the rear seat of the car.
Upmarket Cabin
