The recently launched Hero Glamour Xtec is one of the most feature-packed 125cc commuter bikes in the country.

Hero MotoCorp has recently launched the Hero Glamour Xtec, the country’s first 125cc motorcycle with Bluetooth connectivity, full digital instrument cluster, navigation, integrated USB charger, side stand engine cut-off, bank angle sensor, and LED headlamp. Motorcycle also comes with a few other first-in-segment features to make it a compelling purchase in the 125cc segment.

Variants and colors

The company offers the Xtec in two variants. The one with the front disc retails at Rs 83,500, whereas the cheaper front drum brake-equipped variant costs Rs 78,900 (both ex-showroom, Delhi).

It is offered in two color options: Matte Axis Grey and Glossy Black. The Xtec costs Rs 4,000 and Rs 4,800, costlier than the disc brake-equipped and drum variants of the standard model, respectively.

Features

The console also provides Eco Mode indicator, real-time mileage indicator, phone call and SMS alerts, gear-position indicator, and tachometer. There are, of course, other regular features like odometer, clock, speedometer, fuel gauge, service indicator, and tell-tale lights. The company also claims the new headlamp produces 34 percent more intense light than the halogen unit.

Engine

The new variant is powered by a 125 cc BS-Vi XSens Programmed FI engine which delivers a max power output of 10.7 bhp at 7500 rpm and a max torque of 10.6 Nm at 6000 rpm. It also comes with auto sail technology and delivers promise of comfort and performance.

The Hero Glamour Xtec is currently available at all Hero touch points.
