Exterior and features
The Verna 2023 gets an absolute exterior design. It has a large grille at front, flanked by a split headlamp setup. It will be supported by 17 features which are similar to new generation Tucson SUV, such as lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert, high beam assist, driver attention warning, keyless entry, rear AC vents, automatic headlights, and many more.
The side profile is dominated by creases and sharp lines, giving it a coupe-like form. Connected LED tail lamps with a fang-like design finish off the look.
Engine
The upcoming Verna 2023 will be available in two engine options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and turbo-petrol engine. It will be offered with six-speed manual as standard. Meanwhile, the petrol engine (NA) is teamed with CVT, the turbo-petrol engine is paired with 7-speed DCT.
Interior
The sedan will, however, receive a standalone digital driver's display that combines with the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, just like the Ioniq 5. This is evident from teasers. Additionally, it has switchable controls for the infotainment system and ambient lighting, both of which increase the premium feel.
Price
The newly Verna is expected to start from around 10 lakh (ex-showroom).
