Hyundai India stops online booking for Venue compact SUV

Hyundai India has stopped taking online bookings for the existing Hyundai Venue subcompact SUV. The model has been deleted from the company's official website. Venue is ready to receive its first mid-life update in upcoming weeks. Therefore, it is believed that the company might be planning on launching the updated version soon.

Currently, the model is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The 1.2-litre petrol engine churns out 82 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 114 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine comes with five-speed manual transmission. On the other hand, the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine produces 118 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 172 Nm of torque at 1,500 Nm of torque.

The diesel engine is powered by a 1.5-litre engine that produces 99 bhp and 240 Nm of peak torque. It gets a six-speed manual transmission as standard.

Hyundai might equip the Venue facelift with new interior theme and seat upholstery. It might get a 360 degree camera, front parking sensors, larger touchscreen infotainment system, and ventilated front seats.

Earlier, the company has already delisted the Santro hatchback. Furthermore, the company had also stopped online bookings for the diesel versions of the Aura and Grand i10 Nios.
