Presenting The Updated Hyundai Creta 2020 Version!

Hyundai Creta is one of the most loved mid-size SUV that has broken all records in the Indian automobile market. And Hyundai is all set to launch the Creta 2020 version in the upcoming Auto Expo in February.

The next-generation model of Hyundai Creta has been already premiered at the ix25 SUV concept at the 2019 Shanghai Motor Show. China is going to be the first market where Hyundai will start selling the new version of the 2020 Creta.

Ever since its launch in 2015, Creta has been the market leader in its segment and it has created a niche of its own. The new Creta will lead the reimagined design philosophy of Hyundai - Sensuous Sportiness. However, the competition has become stiffer over the years after the launch of Tata Harrier, MG Hector, Kia Seltos and Nissan Kicks among others.

Here are some brand new features that Creta 2020 will be offering its customers.

Price
The new Creta is expected to be launched in the price bracket of 12 lakhs to 18 lakhs.

Centre Console
The vertical touch centre console of Creta 2020 looks heavily inspired by Tesla models. The massive vertical waterfall outlay gives a premium and modern touch to the vehicle. The visually appealing touch screen provides a plethora of information and looks sophisticated. Essential controls including air conditioning buttons have also been incorporated in the large screen. The piano-black finished centre console merges seamlessly with the screen.

Bluelink
After Hyundai Venue, Creta will become the second car to come with connected features via Bluelink. The wireless technology will enable features like remote start, climate control, GPS hedging and remote locking and unlocking of the vehicle.

BS6 Compliant Engine
One of the major reasons why Hyundai is upgrading all its vehicles in 2020 is due to the changing emission norms in India. With BS6 being enforced from 2020, new Creta will come with a BS6 compliant engine. The 1.5-litre engine will be available in both petrol and diesel options. The engines will come mated with a CVT or manual gearbox.

Lights Setup
In line with the modern trend of headlights in vehicles, Hyundai has also kept new Creta’s LED daytime running lights on the hood and headlights on the bumper below. The headlamps are kept in line with the massive grill of the vehicle to make it look futuristic. All the elements have been packed and placed perfectly with solid build quality.

Dimensions
In comparison to the old one, Creta 2020 is slightly longer and wider by 30 mm and 10 mm respectively. Its wheelbase has also increased by 20 mm. However, its height has been decreased by 20 mm.

After its Auto Expo launch in February 2020, the car is expected to hit the Indian market around April-May in 2020.
