Hyundai has introduced a new 7-seater variant into the Alcazar lineup, known as the Platinum (O), available with the diesel engine for now. The company has priced the Platinum (O) at Rs 19.64 lakh (ex-showroom) making it 15,000 cheaper than the 6-seater variant.
Hyundai Alcazar is offered in total eight variants, Signature (O), Prestige (O), Prestige, Platinum (O), Platinum, Signature, Signature (O) Dual Tone and Signature Dual Tone.
Engine
The company offers Alcazar in two engine options 1.5-litre diesel four-cylinder CRDI diesel engine that churns out 113 BHP and 250 Nm. Hyundai also offers 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 157 BHP and 191 Nm.
The Platinum(O) variant is the only trim that provides an automatic gearbox in both 6 and 7 seater trims in the diesel variant. The automatic variant comes in three modes that is Eco, Sport and City and three traction mode of mud, sand and snow.
Features
The car comes with a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with car tech, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Connectivity, 8-speaker Bose sound system, adjustable driver seat, a voice-operated panoramic sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting, powered tailgates, paddle shifters, air purifier and a 360-degree camera.
On the outside, Hyundai Alcazar features a set of 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. It is placed below the six-seater variant with the mid row captain seating arrangement with all the high-end amenities whereas, having a second-row bench setup to accommodate three (2+3+2 layout).
Other safety features include ABS with EBD, six airbags as well as front and rear parking sensors.
Competitors
It will compete with the models like XUV700, Tata Safari, and MG Hector Plus as well.
