Honda Jazz is a premium hatchback offering that competes with the likes of Tata Altroz, Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, and Volkswagen Polo.

Exterior

It is a mild refreshed version of the third gen. New front bumper and chrome detailing around glossy black front accentuated grill honey mesh design makes it more eye catching.

New LED headlights and fog lamps are new to the design. LEDs are present at the tail light as well. The LED unit of the headlight makes it sporty and sleek. Indicator lights are mounted in between, beneath the same you get a separate LED DRL.

Rear bumper now comes with minor styling changes. Electric sunroof is a new addition. CVT variant offers sports mode and paddle shifter. All variants now also offer cruise control. The new body design is based upon the advanced compatibility engineering body structure design.

From the side profile quarter glass panel is given to enhance the visibility for driver. Electric outside rear view mirror is body coloured, with turned indicators mounted within has been positioned at the door. Door handles now have a chrome finish along with request sensors on both sides.

A character line can be seen running from tail light to front making the side view edgy. Wing type rear light is showcased at the backside. High mount stop lamp gives a look of spoiler to the car.

Interior

The interior at first site feels airy and spacious. Starting from the rear, the boot space is of 354 ltr is best in the segment. Segmented parcel tray can be used for holding small stuff. This tray ends come with soft padding which also cancels the noise and avoids the collision.

Tyre replacement kit is available with a 14-inch steel wheel rim. Rear seat is 180 degree droppable which helps in creating extra space whenever required. The door has quite a wide opening which makes entry easy, a small portion of the gate has fabric finish.

Complete touch panel can be seen. Touch part below multimedia unit if for AC operations. AC wings have chrome and metallic satin finish. A 7-inch advance touchscreen unit is present which is positioned slightly tilted towards the driver for hassle free operation and reach. It also supports Android auto, Apple Car play and Weblink.

Camera settings of the rear are also available with a multi angle view for parking assistance. Finishing around the steering and media unit is all glossy and satin based. Soft leather fabrication is offered at the co-driver side.

Coming to the speedometer, an advanced three ring combi meter is given. The built-in meter is analog. Steering depicts small detailed design to give a premium segment experience.

All media controls are present at the steering as well. Tilt steering option is given for adjustment. Cabin lights are halogen.

Moving to the rear side, the headroom there as well is decent. Seats are immensely comfortable with good thigh support. Spacious legroom is offered here. Huge glass panel windows make the interior airy and spacious.

Safety

The New Honda Jazz is dressed with safety traits like Rear Parking Sensor, Standard Dual SRS Airbags and ABS with EBD with Camera amid others. ACETM Body Structure and pedestrian injury mitigation technology lessen tear in the event of a strike. It will all be good to say, the New Honda Jazz is a running shield for you.
