Honda announces plant shut down in Pakistan

The official partner of Honda cars, Honda Atlas cars has announced the complete shutdown of its plant for the month of March due to supply chain challenges.

The company said that they are not in a condition to continue its production and ultimately has to shut down its production process from March 9 and March 31.

In the past, Toyota Motors, Pakistan Suzuki, and several other manufacturers of four and two wheels frequently closed their operations, which had an impact on their sales.

It remains to be seen whether Honda's suspension of business operations in Pakistan will be temporary or permanent. However, it underscores the importance of diversifying business operations and managing risks in emerging markets.

In addition, the companies increased CKD model costs, which crippled people's already limited purchasing power, in addition to the industrial activity's effects.
