Honda City hybrid launched

Honda Cars India is ready to launch the City Hybrid in the month of May and it has already reached dealers across the country. Ahead of its price announcement, the official bookings of the car are currently open.

Exterior

The model is spotted in the Platinum White Pearl shade, one of the five color choices the car that will be offered in. It will only have a single ZX variant with minimal cosmetic changes and is equipped with LED headlights with LED DRLs, revised fog lamps, a honeycomb pattern for grille, and a 16-inch alloy wheels.

Interior

If we talk about interior, the cabin remains same. It will be offered with connected car tech, auto AC, an updated 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, connected car tech with Amazon Echo, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TMPS), ambient lighting, Google assistant and smartwatch (iOS and Android) integration

Safety

The safety features include a segment-first ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) suite, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, six airbags, ESC, a rear parking camera, auto high-beam assist, and vehicle stability control.

Engine

The City is offered with 98 PS 1.5-litre petrol engine, paired with two-electric motors. The combined output of the powertrain is 126 PS and up to 253 Nm. It gets three drive modes : Hybrid, Petrol, and Pure EV.

Price

Honda City Hybrid costs Rs 19.5 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in the top variant (ZX). It is more expensive than petrol City.
