Honda Amaze has been a lucky car for Honda. It was the first car that was offered with Honda's new diesel engine. It also brings in great numbers for Honda.

Honda launched Amaze in India in 2013 in the sub-sedan category. Ever since its launch, the compact sedan has brought great sales volumes for Honda. With its premium styling and reliable engine, Amaze has become one of the preferred options to buy a sedan in the budget segment.

Its new BS6 models are now offered with both diesel and petrol engines. The new Amaze looks even more stylish, premium, and spacious. Let us find what it has on offer.

Exterior

The design offered here is very crisp giving an evocative appeal. The grille is majorly covered with oodles of chrome for a premium touch. Two Tow hooks are also present in the front. The headlight unit is halogen based, but pilot light consists of LED.

15-inch tyres are given here. The overall look of the car is very boxy and elegant. The all new look is different from the before versions. The size of the ORVM is larger comparatively. The ORVM comes with the inbuilt indicators. The structure sticks to a 4m long sedan.

Interior

Comes with a keyless entry. Request button is given on both the sides. Fabric quality offered on the door is of premium quality. Black door sills guard makes the interior look very outstanding.

The AC vents are surrounded by silver for a premium touch. Center console is finished perfectly and makes the cabin feel spacious and airy..

Infotainment system is a 7-inch touchscreen. It supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and has all basic connectivity features like AM, FM, radio, MP3 and Bluetooth. AC units offered consist of automatic climate control. 12V power outlet followed by dual USB ports of 1.5A and 1.0A. Front seats come with adjustable headrests. Beige fabric seats upholstery is used inside. Driver seat comes with a height adjustable option. Analogue instrument cluster with multi information display is given to keep you informed will all sorts of driving data. Steering wheel comes with audio controls. Door handles are of silver finish. Rear seats are offered with fixed headrest. Rear bottle holder is also available. Boot space is 420ltr.

Upgraded safety features has been added. Standard ACE body structure, Standard ABS with EBD, ECU immoblizir system, Standard ISOfix are some of the safety parameter. Global NCAP has crash tested the Honda Amaze and it has achieved a 4 star rating in the Adult Occupant Protection in the frontal crash test.

Engine Options

The Honda Amaze is offered in diesel and petrol engine. Petrol version comes in 1.2ltrs engine giving mileage of 18.6km/l (MT) and 90ps@6 000 power.

Diesel version comes in 1.5ltrs engine giving mileage of 24.7km/l and 100ps@3 600 power.

The Amaze petrol version start from Rs6.17 lakhs and goes upto 8.79 lakhs having 11 variants.

The diesel version starts from 7.63 lakhs and goes upto 9.99 lakhs having 11 variants.
