GTA Spano sets the world record for fastest Lego model

Lego's bring out the inner child in most people but sometimes they mean serious, record setting business when built to scale. Spain GTA and BuWizz recently collaborated on a 1:8 scale model of the GTA Spano, packed with electric motors, becoming the fastest Lego model in the world. The bite-sized supercar could set a new record, according to collaborators.

The scale model has a maximum speed of 26.8miles per hour (36.5 kilometers per hour) as compared to the real Spano that can reach above 200 mph that is 321 kmph. The two-turbocharged 8.0-liter V10 engine that produces 912.3 bhp and has 1.200 newton meters of torque. Obviously, the scale model can't fit in the V10, though it does have 10 BuWizz electric motors to motivate it. Additionally, it has added five electric motors that control other vehicle functions.

Five BuWizz 3.0 Pro controllers manages all the processing, which is controllable through either a customizable iOS, Android app, and Bluetooth connectivity. The screen can important vehicle related information, such as power, acceleration, and even cornering G-forces. Basically, the Lego model looks like a miniature and faithful version of the sleek Spanish supercar. It's consists of 3,880 Lego pieces, and also includes a detailed interior.

Recently, it has announced a model of the Batmobile from the upcoming Batman film. Additionally, it has declared a new Toyota Supra scale model.
