Everything that you need to know about 2021 Jeep Compass Facelift

Jeep Compass Facelift now offers fresh interiors, all-new mounted new infotainment system, and revamped exteriors.

The Jeep Compass facelift finally taken the covers off and has been unveiled in India, ahead of its launch next month i.e by the end of January 2021. The pre-bookings shall begin at online platform and at dealer levels with the new upcoming model. The new 2021 Compass SUV gets upgraded styling, a revamped interior and more impressive features, in comparison to the outgoing model. Check out before buying:

Exterior

On exterior styling, the newly revealed Jeep Compass facelift model features revised headlights revised front fascia with holding the sleek and wider integrated LED DRLs, an updated signature seven-slat grille with honeycomb-like chrome inserts, a reworked bumper with a larger horizontal air dam housing new fog light lamps. The SUV also get new alloy wheels with fresh design covered by prominent square-shaped wheel arches. The portion at lower side has a silver skid plate with plastic cladding on both sides. The back profile is untouched with subtle changes to the tail lamp units.

However, there are no more major updates to the side and rear of the new SUV. The upcoming Compass is one of the significant models in the brand’s India line-up and has gained its first upgrade since its launch in the country in 2017.

Interior

The interior of the 2021 Compass facelift gets a completely revamped  with newly sculpted seats having better support and comfort and cushioning. The new floating 10.1-inch floating touchscreen taking centre stage with latest FCA’s UConnect 5 infotainment system, integrated Amazon Alexa support, wireless Apple CarPlay Connectivity and Android Auto support. The infotainment system also receive over-the-air (OTA) updates. Below are the new slim AC vents and HVAC controls. The upcoming Jeep Compass facelift also has double-stitched brown leather inserts on the main dashboard and brushed aluminium, like trim. Also, the driver is greeted by part of the package that is, a new three-spoke steering wheel and a large, full 10.25 digital instrument cluster.

The 2021 Jeep Compass facelift also features like, wireless charging, a 360-degree parking camera, connected car technology, dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery while the lower variants get all-black upholstery, powered tailgate, electrically-adjustable driver’s seat, front ventilated seats, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Engine

The powertrain options on the 2021 Jeep Compass facelift is remain unchanged with  1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 163hp and 250Nm of torque and 2.0-litre diesel engine making 173hp and 350Nm of torque. Transmission option on the petrol come with an option of seven-speed dual-clutch automatic while the Compass facelift diesel will also be available with nine-speed torque converter auto option with a four-wheel drive system with surface-specific drive modes. Both engine comes with a six-speed manual as standard.

Safety

Safety features on the Compass is also enhanced with some of the equipment which include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD and panic brake assist, traction control, hill-start assist, electronic roll mitigation, ESC, hill-descent control auto headlamps and wipers and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
