What is Mahindra MSTC Recycling?

Mahindra MSTC Recycling is a joint venture between Mahindra Intertrade and MSTC Ltd, a government of India enterprise. The joint venture has setup India’s first automotive and steel recycling facility in Greater NOIDA in 2018 under the brand name CERO.

It is also India’s first organised, pollution-free, and fully compliant recycling facility.  It collects end-of-life vehicles, de-pollutes and dismantles them at the state-of-the-art facility. The recycling facility follows a zero-pollution objective and the automated plant has the capacity to recycle old trucks, cars, buses, and two- and three-wheelers, along with consumer durables.

The recovered raw material including metals is then supplied to companies that can make use of them. Automotive steel is considered as one of the best steels available as it is easily recyclable.
