The Delhi Government's Transport Department is planning to launch a portal to make the process easier for people willing to get their old petrol and diesel converted to electric ones. This can be done by just a one click on a single platform.
Buyers will be able to pick their choice of companies to convert their old vehicles into electric cars. The cost of converting could lie anywhere in between ₹
3 lakh to ₹ 5 lakh.
The aim is to serve a one-stop solution for vehicle owners to provide them the information about getting new e-vehicles registered with RTO via portal.
The portal will be launched within the second half of this month.
