Delhi-Dehradun Expressway is likely to complete its final phase of the construction has begun. Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highway shared the key updates about the construction of 210 km expressway which will reduce the travel time between two cities.
The construction work of last 20 km stretch of the highway has started. It passes via Raja Ji National Park where 12-km elevated wildlife corridor is being constructed.
It will built at the cost of Rs 8,300 crore under the supervision of NHAI. The traveling time will reduce to 25 kms. It will nearly take 2.5 hours to reach Dehradun now.
