Delhi to conduct evening driving tests for those who are looking for a license

The Delhi government now offers DL seekers to undergo driving tests at automated tracks across the city after sunset. These automated driving tests tracks are located at Mayur Vihar, Shakurbasti, and Vishwas Nagar.

These tracks have started conducted driving tests since May 1 between 5 PM and 7 PM and only 45 appointments will be booked daily on each track. It will help to undergo this test on weekdays and not to skip offices.

As per the ministry, under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1999, the automated driving tests track will essentially tests 20 driving skills. For token distribution, the centres will have an Electronic Queue Management System (EQMS). 17 CCTV cameras will be used to capture the footage and images of tests for close monitoring.

The government had tied up with Maruti Suzuki Foundation to set up 12 such tracks.
