Nitin Gadkari, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is mulling a new law under which a person could earn a cash prize of Rs 500 if he/she clicks and sends a picture of wrongly parked vehicles.
People often park their vehicles on the roads instead of in designated parking spaces. Therefore, this new law has been implemented.
The violator will be fined Rs 1000 and the person who sends the picture of wrongly parked vehicles to authorities will be rewarded with Rs 500.
He said that owning a car has become a requirement for everyone and people do not make use of parking spaces, instead use roads to park their cars.
