Automakers in India are launching new cars with high features at affordable prices. Various options are available, from a sunroof to a cabinet air purifier. Ventilated seats have also become a popular market feature.

The goal of having seats with vents is to make driving more pleasurable for the driver and passengers in the summer season. To get the heat flowing, ventilated seats have a heat transfer provision. It is an extension of the onboard AC system that heats or cools your seats.

Below are the most affordable cars in India with ventilated seats under Rs. 20 lakhs.

Kia Sonet

With its feature-packed cabin and luxury exterior design, Kia Sonet subcompact SUV is one of the most affordable SUVs. Its only the HTX+ and GTX+ trims offer ventilated feature. It costs 11.75 lakh for the HTX+ model and 13.25 lakh for the GTX+ (ex-showroom). The SUV is available with a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. The available transmissions include a 6-speed torque converter, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed iMT, a 5-speed manual, and a 7-speed DCT automatic.

Hyundai Verna

Next on the list is the Hyundai Verna sedan. There are few sedans in this price range with ventilated front seats. It is offered on top-of-the-line SX(O) and SX(O) Turbo models. The SX(O) Turbo model costs 15.25 lakh, while the SX(O) variant costs 12.84 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). There are three engine options for the Hyundai Verna in India: a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine, a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine, and a diesel engine. It is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, 7-speed DCT and an iVT are options.

Kia Seltos

Kia Seltos is the second Korean SUV that offers ventilated seats in India. This feature is available in trims including GTX(O) and HTX+. GTX(O) model comes at 15.35 lakh and HTX+ models costs 15.79 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It is powered by 1.5-liter Smartstream petrol, 1.4-liter Smartstream T-GDI petrol, and 1.5-liter CRDi VGT diesel engine. Options for transmissions range from the 6-speed manual and iVT to a torque converter and a 7-speed DCT along with a 6-speed iMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission).

Hyundai Creta

Like Verna, Hyundai Creta also offers ventilated seats for the driver and front passengers. Only the SX(O) model of the Creta has ventilated front seats. The petrol SX(O) model costs Rs. 16.65 lakh, while the diesel SX(O) AT model costs Rs. 17.65 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Creta comes powered with a 1.4-liter turbo GDI petrol engine, a 1.5-liter VGT diesel engine, and a 1.5-liter petrol engine. It is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission is standard, although an optional torque converter (1.5-liter diesel), 7-speed DCT (1.4-liter turbo petrol), and the iVT automatic transmission (1.5-liter petrol).

MG Hector 2021

Sharp trim of MG Hector offers the ventilated seat feature. It is priced between 17.39 lakh and 19.05 lakh. The Hector 2021 has three powertrain options including a 1.5-liter petrol engine, a 1.5-liter petrol hybrid, and a 2.0-liter diesel engine. DCT and CVT automatic transmissions are available, and 6-speed manual transmission is available as standard.
