A vehicle turned into a monument that has been parked in the same spot for 47 years in Italy.
In 1974, newsagent Angelo Fregolent first parked his Lancia Fulvia in front of his house in Conegliano. He and his 40 years old wife, Bertilla, who is 10 years younger than him. When he opened the business, he was glad to have the Lancia Fulvia parked in front of it because he had the newspapers unloaded in the trunk and then he took them inside.
After the retirement of couple, they left the car on the spot and it became a tourist attraction. It became a landmark as the visitors to Conegliano would take selfies with the vehicle.
Visitors and residents would take pictures and it became a landmark as photos went viral on social media.
The officials have decided to move the car after five decades. Once it's fully restored, the car will be kept outside a local school next to Angelo and Bertilla's house. The elderly couple would be able to see their old car from their window.
