Maruti Suzuki Sold Over 6 Lakh Automatic Cars in India in 5 Years

Renault's November Sales Up By 77% Led by Strong Demand for Triber

During the month of November 2019, Renault witnessed a 77 percent growth. Renault India's total domestic sales were 10,882 units against 6134 vehicles that were sold in November 2018.

In comparison, October 2019 also was a strong month for the carmaker, with Renault selling 11, 516 cars during the Diwali month, registering a growth of 63 percent, as compared to the 7,066 units sold during the same month last year. Renault India's Year-To-Date (YTD), April 2019 to November 2019, currently stands at 76,905 units.

Kia Sells 14005 Units in November 2019

Sales of the Kia Seltos continue to bloom, and the company announced that it has sold 14,005 units of the compact SUV in November 2019. The momentum for the company for sales continues as it managed to grow 9 percent compared to October 2019. Seltos has become the best-selling Compact SUV for the past two months. Since its launch in August 2019, Kia Motors India has delivered more than 40,000 Seltos to its customers. The company has already received 86,840 bookings to date. The company sold 6,236 SUVs in August; 7,754 in September and 12,854 units in October 2019. The company revealed that it is ramping up production of the DCT and Diesel Auto to reduce the waiting period, as they are the most sought-after trims.

Tata Motors' November domestic sales down 25% at 41,124 units

Tata Motors on Sunday reported a 25.32 percent decline in total sales to 41,124 units in November. The company had sold a total of 55,074 units in the same month last year, Tata Motors revealed in a statement. Total domestic sales were down by 25 percent at 38,057 units as compared to 50,470 units in November 2018. Passenger vehicle sales in the domestic market during the month of November stood at 10,400 units against 16,982 units in the same month in2018; that is a fall of 39 percent.
