BMW cars may provide drivers pick and drop service on its own

BMW is developing a new technology that enables its car to find its own parking spot, pickup and drop drivers on its own, and even find a charging station in case of an EV without the need for human intervention.

This new technology is called Automated Valet Parking. It will be controlled via BMW app. The driver will be able to control the car through his fingerprints.

BMW has been testing it on their vehicles in various locations around the world. The goal of this technology is:

  1. To make parking more convenient for drivers, as well as to reduce the amount of time and effort that goes into finding a parking spot.
  2. With this technology, drivers would be able to simply get out of their car and let it park itself, which could be especially useful in areas where parking is difficult to find or limited.

However, it's important to note that autonomous driving technology is still in its early stages, and there are still many safety and regulatory hurdles that need to be addressed before fully autonomous vehicles become a reality. As such, it may be several years before BMW's autonomous parking technology is widely available to consumers.
