When it comes to best selling cars in India, the brand that often tops the charts is Maruti Suzuki followed by Hyundai. For the fourth consecutive year, the list of the top 10 best-selling cars include 7 cars from the Maruti Suzuki.

Maruti Suzuki Swift
If you are a regular reader, you must be knowing that Swift tops the sales chart almost every month. It gets the new dual-jet engine that produces 90 PS and 113 Nm of torque. Maruti Suzuki WagonR
This hatchback comes with 1.0 litre and 1.2 litre petrol engines and mated with an AMT gearbox as well. It starts with a price tag of Rs 4.80 lakh and goes to Rs 6.33 lakh (ex-showroom). This continues to be India's favorite tallboy as it has multiple things to offer.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno
Baleno is the best selling hatchback in India. Despite of not offering a diesel engine option, it continues to lead the segment. In terms of power, it is same as Swift but it also offers an option of CVT automatic. It starts from Rs 5.90 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki Alto
Despite not receiving any major updates, it has been the best selling car in Indian market. It is powered with 0.8 litre petrol engine with CNG as well. The pricing of Alto 800 starts from Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Hyundai Creta
Hyundai Creta also secured position in top 10, competing with Maruti Suzuki. It is offered with 1.5 litre diesel and petrol engine and 1.4 litre T-GDI engine options. The price range of Creta is Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 17.70 lakh (ex-showroom).
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza
Like every other Maruti, it too doesn't offer a diesel engine. Vitara Brezza is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine which arrives mated to a 5-speed manual and 4-speed AT gearbox. It comes with a price tag of Rs 7.51 lakh and goes to Rs 11.41 lakh ex-showroom.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire
Dzire also leads the segment in terms of sale. Dzire is powered by 1.2 litre petrol engine that comes mated with 5 speed manual and AMT gearbox. Despite, Honda selling the Amaze and Hyundai selling the Aura none of them is able to match with Dzire’s sales anyhow.
Maruti Suzuki Eeco
Eeco is the best selling MPV in India, despite, being a bore bone car. It is powered with a 1.3 litre petrol engine with a sole 5-speed manual gearbox. It falls between Rs 4.08 lakh-Rs 5.29 lakh.
Hyundai Grand I10 Nios
The ninth best selling car is Hyundai Grand I10 Nios starts with 5.23 lakh, ex showroom.
Hyundai Venue
The sales of Hyundai Venue have seen a marginal dip when compared to Vitara Brezza. It range starts from Rs 6.92 lakh goes to Rs 11.78 lakh, ex-showroom.
