Avoid these routes if you are driving in Delhi

The Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory for passengers to avoid certain routes between 18-21 October. The department said that these traffic measures will be applied during the festive season.

Commuters have been advised to plan accordingly. The list of roads to avoid are:

2. Firoz Shah Road
3. Barakhamba Road
4. Mathura Road
5. Janpath
6. Sikandra Road
7. Dr Zakir Hussain Marg
8. Panchsheel Marg
9. Dhaula Kuan Flyover
10. Aerocity and T3 Approach Road
11. Gurgaon Road
12. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Marg
13. Subramaniam Bharti Marg
14. Maharishi Raman Marg
15. Bhisma Pitamah Marg
16. Sardar Patel Marg
17. Bhairon Road
18. Shantipath
19. Mehram Nagar Tunnel
20. Rajesh Pilot Marg

The traffic department also advised employees to work from home and use public transport, postpone avoidable traffic, consider taking alternative routes.
