On Thursday in India, Audi launched e-Tron 50, e-Tron 55, and e-Tron Sportback 55 all-electric SUVs, with prices starting at Rs 99.99 lakh, Rs 1.16 crore, and Rs 1.17 crore.
The all-new e-Tron is Audi's first all-electric car to reach Indian roads. Dual electric motors produce 300 kW and 664 Nm of torque in the Audi e-Tron 55 and e-Tron Sportback 55.
Both versions reach 100 kilometers per hour in 5.7 seconds and have a range of 359–484 kilometers in a single charge.
The e-Tron 50's electric motors produce a power of 230 kW and a torque of 540 Nm, with a speed of 0 to 100 kmph in 6.8 seconds.
The e-Tron 55 and e-Tron Sportback 55 have a 95kWh lithium-ion battery that provides a range of 359-484 kilometers and an 11kW portable AC home charger that can charge up to 150 kW DC.
The e-Tron 50 comes equipped with a 71kWh lithium-ion battery that enables a range of 264-379 kilometers and a maximum charging rate of 120 kW DC. Both sides have charging flaps to provide for maximum parking flexibility.
Audi e-Tron and Audi e-Tron Sportback have distinct exterior styling and body styles. The Audi e-Tron Sportback is a sporty SUV with a powerful sloping roofline, while the Audi e-Tron is a gorgeous, wide SUV with a straight roofline.
Audi cabin interiors include Black, Okapi Brown, and Mother of Pearl Beige. The wraparound instrument panel, which incorporates the hood over the Audi Virtual Cockpit. Additionally, it has shift paddles that enable manual switches between stages of recuperation.
Additionally, it has sound-absorbing and insulating materials that minimize sound penetration into the passenger compartment, while advanced aeroacoustics reduce background noise.
The Audi e-Tron is the first car in India featuring Animated Digital Matrix LED Headlamps. A 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen 3D Surround Sound System, an Audi Phone Box, a gesture-controlled boot lid with Wireless Charging, and a 360-degree camera with customizable views are all included in the car.
It also has an MMI Navigation Plus with MMI Touch Response, 31.24-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit display, and 30-color ambient lighting.
All e-Tron versions have Progressive Steering, Audi Drive Select, Quattro Permanent All-Wheel Drive, Adaptive Air Suspension, four-zone temperature control, and a panoramic sunroof as standard.
The e-Tron has eight airbags for easy access lighted seat belt buckles, pre-sense Basic, which starts preventative protection measures in case of emergency braking or near-limit handling. External speakers are capable of generating a distinctive sound to alert pedestrians.
