Do you know about new notification of Apple? Check here.
Introduced in iOS 14.5 this spring, rolling out to iOS beta users now is a new feature in Apple Maps that allows drivers to stay on the road tell Siri about road conditions without even taking their hands or eyes off the road. When the report is logged, the information is shared with other drivers along the same road. After an incident is cleared, you can also use Siri to inform Apple Maps that it's no longer an issue.
The new feature works with both the Apple Maps application on the phone and CarPlay. Drivers can say "Hey Siri" and share an incident using one of the mentioned phrases:
Report hazard / accident / speed check / speed trap / incident
There's an accident / hazard / speed check / speed trap / incident
There’s a crash up ahead
There’s something on the road
There’s a speed trap here
Clear the hazard/ accident / incident
The hazard is gone
The incident is no longer here
There's an accident that's still here
For users of the Waze navigation app, these types of alerts along the route are out of date. Apple is integrating it directly into its own app. This allows you to share the incidents can be shared through Siri, eliminating the need to interact with your application with anything other than voice.
