Actor Eijaz Khan buys Mahindra Thar

Television actor, Eijaz Khan recently bought a brand new Mahindra Thar finished in Galaxy Grey shade. He has opted for the hardtop version of the Thar.

The second generation Mahindra Thar SUV was launched in India last year. Its price range starts from ₹ 12.79 lakh- ₹15.09 lakh. It has achieved 4-star crash test ratings in the Global NCAP. A new 5-door version of Thar will also arrive in sometime.

The new Thar will be offered with a choice of petrol and diesel options. On a 2.0-litre mStallion 150 TGDI petrol engine, it produces 150 bhp and 320 Nm of torque. While, on a 2.2-litre mHawk 130, it churns out 130 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. Both engines have the option of a six-speed automatic gearbox and a robust four-wheel drive (4WD) system.

Mahindra has been able to receive 75,000 bookings in just 12 months. This is a huge number for a 4×4 SUV.
