Hyundai Motors has launched the Venue facelift at a starting price tag of Rs 7.53 lakh (ex-showroom). The bookings are underway, whereas deliveries are scheduled to commence soon.
It will be available in five variants - E, S, S+/S(O), SX, and SX(O). Prices for the 1.5L oil burner variants and 1.0-litre-petrol variants will start from Rs 10 lakh due to their inclusion in S+/S(O) variant.
It receives a plenty of cosmetic changes. It looks bolder and sharper as compared to its outgoing model. It gets a new "Parametric Jewel" grill with same twin headline setup. The redesigned front bumper gets a prominent black cladding element which makes it look more simple and upright.
If we talk about its interior, it gets the same dashboard design with new black and ivory theme. It also gets new steering wheel and digital instrument cluster that seems to be taken by Hyundai i20.
It also gets 8-inch instrument cluster, electric sunroof, automatic AC, a rear parking camera, and six airbags.
The SUV gets three engine options: 83 PS 1.2-litre petrol, 120 PS 1-litre turbo-petrol, and 100PS 1.5-litre diesel. It comes mated with 5-speed and 6-speed manual transmission.
The 2022 Venue will compete with the likes of Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Renault Kiger, Kia Sonet, and Toyota Urban Cruiser.
