Honda Civic is a head turner! With its low profile and slick looks, it is one of the most desired sedans in India. Check out how the 2022 Honda Civic would look like.
Despite increasing popularity of SUVs, Honda Civic enjoys a loyal fan base in India. The premium sedan has always been a head turner with is slick looks and styling. Banking on that fan base, Honda has now revealed the prototype of Civic 2020. The prototype model is equipped with a lot of new design elements on the exteriors along with an upgraded cabin, smart-tech, and large range of safety features. The 11th generation update is crucial for a sedan that has been on the roads now for than 50 years.
While the model is prototype, Honda has confirmed that majority of the features will be incorporated in the production car that is all set to launch in May, 2021.
2022 Honda Civic Design
On the design front, Honda has completely revamped the front of the 2022 Civic. It now sports a larger grille and sleeker LED headlamps. The side profile of the car has character lines and it still sits pretty low to the road for a sporty look. The real profile of the car also looks wider than the 10th generation Civic. It has also got a bigger pair of LED tail lamps, modified exhaust tip, and a new spoiler.
The prototype Civic has got 19-inch black alloy wheel.
2022 Honda Civic Interiors
The Civic 2022 will sport a horizontal layout on dashboard while maintaining a clean profile. There is also a dash of honeycomb accent between the 9-inch touchscreen and aircon rotary dials. It will also have larger cup holders and storage space for your smartphones. However, Honda is expected to offer a fully digital instrument cluster in the production model.
Honda has also confirmed the 2022 Honda Civic will be offered both in hatchback and sedan version. However, there is still no word on the India launch.
