2021 Toyota Innova Crysta expected to reach showrooms in December

Toyota is all set to launch the 2021 Innova Crysta with minor cosmetic changes. It will also offer a few upgrades in the interiors.

The Toyota Innova Crysta is all set to refresh the Indian market with a mid-cycle update. As per new reports, Toyota dealers are informed about the arrival of refreshed model within a few weeks. Some dealers have also started accepting bookings for the facelift version of Innova Crysta.

As per the information gathered by CarInfo, the 2021 Innova Crysta will get refreshed exteriors and interiors will also get some minor updates. India's leading MPV is also expected to offer tech inside the cabin. However, there will not be any mechanical changes.

2021 Toyota Innova Crysta facelift: What to expect ?

Toyota has already updated the Innova Crysta's engines to comply BS6 norms in the first half of 2020. This means, there will not be any changes with the engine. However, there will be some cosmetic updates that we have seen in the overseas model.

The Innova Crysta facelift is expected to continue with the existing 150hp, 2.4-litre diesel and 166hp, 2.7-litre petrol engine options. Both engines offer either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

Exteriors

All-new Innova Crysta will sport a slightly larger grille housed with a thick chrome along with more slats. Updated Innova Crysta will come with more aggressive headlamps coupled with chrome extensions that merge into the grille seamlessly. The higher trim will also offer brand new LED daytime running lamps (DRLs).

The front bumper of Innova Crysta has also got sharper looks with a blacked-out chin and a silver faux skid plate. The fog lamp housings have got a new design along with a black surround. 2020 Innova Crysta could also come with diamond-cut 16-inch alloy wheels. Updated Innova Crysta comes will be styled with a black hexagonal panel sitting between the tail-lights.

Interiors

The 2021 Innova Crysta will offer a brand new instrument panel in most of the variants. All new 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system will support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It will also come equipped with an in-built air purifier in top trims. On top of that, it also expected to offer a 360-degree camera.

2021 Innova Crysta bookings, pricing and launch details

The 2021 Innova Crysta facelift is expected to be priced a bit higher than the outgoing offering. Toyota is expected to reveal the price of 2021 Innova Crysta in the later part of November and deliveries are expected to start from December.
